First week "off " from school

This week has been a lot more easy than the last few, but oddly busy . . . school has ended, last Friday officially, but somehow it has kept going on! I had to go to campus for meetings, a fundraising seminar for our thesis projects (get out those checkbooks, friends and neighbors), had to re-do the credits on my last picture to correct some errors, get dubs made of all my cycle projects so I could work on my reel . . . this evening there is a wrap party for my last picture, then next week more thesis meetings and thesis presentations, a session with Donn Cambern to review my first cut of Tag, an editors' barbeque at school . . . and then I am kind of done for a month or so, until thesis fundraising needs to start kicking in. So, school is over without really being over.

But still, a couple of hours every other day or so beats the 15-18 A DAY I logged of late.

Not much new to report. Jack is awesome of course, and Genevieve is doing great. Jack's late-night gas pains have been causing no end of sleeplessness on all our parts and we are eagerly looking forward to his system getting past this uncomfortable developmental stage. Next week, I become Mr. Mom full time and try to find a few hours of work in the evenings to help out our extremely stretched financial situation. I am looking forward to spending lots of time with Jack during the day, and maybe watching some ball games or visitng Disneyland too.

Today, gotta make some appointments to see new apartments, try to get my area cleaned up here at home, digitize my project dubs and start working on my demo reel and resume so I can see if I can get work.
